The Story of Our Logo
The Foundation is grateful for the contribution of Liza Biggers in creating a visual representation of the No One Left Behind Foundation.
Liza is the sister to Army Spec 4 Ethan J. Biggers who gave the ultimate sacrifice on 02/24/2007 in Iraq. Liza was the primary caregiver to Ethan as he fought his injuries stateside for a year before losing his battle to his combat wounds.
The artistry depicts a Vietnam veteran reaching out to support service members from our nation’s current conflicts who have returned or are still returning from deployment. Elements from the artwork were instrumental in helping create the identity of the No One Left Behind logo.
The No One Left Behind Foundation uses outdoor and recreational activities to help in healing the visible and invisible scars of combat. The foundation provides an opportunity for returning service members to engage in experiences they enjoyed prior to injury, or new activities they wish to explore after injury.
